DECISION MADE!!! Now Let’s Move On…
The Democratic Party Rules and Bylaws Committee has voted to seat all of Florida’s delegates to the party’s nominating convention this August in Denver, but to only give each delegate one-have vote each.
It was the second vote to decide the fate of our state’s delegation. Earlier, a proposal to seat everyone with a full vote failed.
The full delegation/full vote idea was what Hillary Rodham Clinton’s campaign favoured.
Now, the focus switches to what happens to Michigan’s delegation. All of the candidates except Clinton took their names off the ballot for that state’s primary. Michigan’s party chairman is asking that his state’s full delegation be seated with full votes, and that the delegation be split 69-59 with Clinton pledged delegates getting the majority.
And so it goes…and so it goes.
